What To
Expect
Initial visit
At this visit, Dr Faleye and staff will
- Take a panoramic radiograph.
- Listen to your needs and concerns
- Examine your teeth and jaws
- Discuss the treatment options and the treatment process
- Discuss the payment options and insurance benefits
and implement a payment plan.
After the treatment and financial details
have been outlined, if treatment is indicated, orthodontic
records, that is, study models, photographs and radiographs,
will be done. Separators will be placed that will stay in
for a week, at which time the braces will be placed.
Financial information
The cost of orthodontic treatment varies
and depends on the severity of the patient’s problem
and therefore length of time it is expected to take to complete
treatment.
We are willing to set up flexible payment
plans and assist you in submitting claims to your insurance
company.
In order to offer affordable orthodontic
cost, there is in-office financing at no interest. Our in-office
payment plan consists of an initial down payment, which can
be paid over 2 or 3 months, with the remaining balance divided
into equal monthly payments over the length of treatment
.
Orthodontic Fee Plan OFP is available for patients who
qualify. OFP is a financing plan which offers payment
arrangements with no down payment and monthly payments for
up to 60 months, with a competitive interest rate. You can
visit their website at www.orthofeeplan.com
- For your convenience, we accept payment by cash, check,
Visa and Mastercard
- As a bonus for our patients, there is a 5% bookkeeping
discount if payment is paid in full before or at initial
placement of braces. There is also a multi-family member
discount.
- As a way of saying thank you for patient referrals, one
month credit is applied to accounts of patients who refer
their friends and family that start orthodontic treatment.
Appointments
Patients are seen by appointment only. Our
office hours are 8:30-5pm, Monday through Thursday, with lunch
between 12 pm and 1. The office is closed on Fridays, weekends
and major holidays. We strive to see our patients on time
and we ask the same courtesy of our patients. If it is necessary
to change or cancel your appointment, please call the office
at least 24 hours in advance to allow us to make this time
available to our other patients. During treatment, your appointment
will be scheduled every 4-6 weeks and appointments generally
last 20-40 minutes. We do rotate morning and evening appointments
as we cannot grant the request of most patients to come only
after school or work.
The initial banding appointment usually lasts
about 2 hours. The last 30 minutes will be spent giving instructions
to the parent and patient. Instructions will include dietary,
care and oral hygiene instructions. |
